Can't Take My Eyes Off You (9).png

Film music has always been my musical soulmate. From listening to 'Classic FM at the Movies' as I went to sleep every night as a child (no, seriously), to writing a dissertation about Indie Film during my final year of my Music degree at Cardiff University, it has been a constant in my life.

In terms of composition, I find endless inspiration in the world around me. A particular style of composition that I am experimenting with currently is one that I call 'organic synthesis', taking a soundscape or fragment of speech and translating it into music - whatever form that may take.

My composition tends to be influenced by classical composers such as Debussy, Messiaen and Mahler, but I also adore the music of contemporary film composers such as Ban Salisbury & Geoff Barrow, Jon Brion, Jonny Greenwood and Colin Stetson.
